I cast these wax cushions while thinking about the objects that fall behind our couches or beds. These things stay in the dark and are often forgotten. But they continue to accumulate history and residue. In the space between the radiator and the floor, these wax cushions record time, melting and rehardening when the radiator is turned off and on, with the change of the seasons.
