Wish-making objects exist in many cultures. These objects often hold no real power, but they give us a physical object to pin our hopes and desires onto.

Each of my fictional wish-making objects look intricate upclose. Yet from afar, they look like they are fading into the architecture, becoming sun-bleached or fading into the shadows. No matter how fervently we may wish for something in the moment, time passes and the desire recedes. In its wake, these tiny objects are left behind.
